Poker is a Maths game - there are finite solutions to all problems. Learn the odds of the game and be true to them, not calling long odds with no money in the pot. (link to scb odds page) (or if we can fit it on the page I’ll do an odds chart)

All these are the chances of hitting what you need on the NEXT card
| Hand | Odds | Comments |

| Flush Draw | 4/1 | You can call a $10 bet if there is at least $40 in the pot already |
| Open ended Straight Draw | 5/1 | You can call a $10 bet so long as there is at least $50 in the pot |
| 2 Overcards | 7/1 | You’re starting to get the idea :D, you will need at least $70 in the pot to call $10 |
| Gutshot Straight Draw | 11/1 | Now you see why you can’t always call those gutshots! $110 must be in pot! |
