The tighter your hand selection the easier your decisions will become. Even Gus Hansen doesn’t play rubbish hands, they are simply more speculative such as 75s etc. As a beginner learning your trade I would try to stick to just playing AK thru AJ, any pair higher than 88 and suited connectors such as 98s and above. (Remembering to only play the better ones in Early Position.)
